They get a bye in the first round. Second Round they are drawn at home to the worst team in the Ayrshire District League. This team can't even field a team for the game so they get a walkover. Semi Final and another home tie against another struggling Ayrshire District League side. No other Super League (Premier) clubs in their half of the draw.

Goals from Neil Shearer in 16 minutes and John Craig in injury time won the cup for Beith - whose reward is now an away tie against Cambuslang Rangers in the quarter final of the Evening Times Cup-Winners Cup. Should they win that they will have a semi final home tie against the winners of Maryhill v Petershill. The final is on the 12th June at a venue to be arranged.

Paul Crankshaw's proposed fixture list

Paul Crankshaw (a Troon supporter I believe and also the man responsible for publishing the first book on Scottish Junior Cup results from 1969-89) has also made an attempt at a fixture list.

The SJFA's decision not to move the final to Dundee was rewarded with the lowest crowd in the history of the competition. Only 3030 travelled to Firhill to witness Carnoustie Panmure lift the trophy for the first time by beating the holders, Tayport 4-1 on penalties. 120 minutes failed to produce a goal with Carnoustie missing a penalty.

Scottish Junior Cup 10 years on re-union

Largs Thistle will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the only Scottish Junior Cup triumph in their 114-year history.
Plans are underway for a June 19 reunion of the players and backroom team that contributed to the memorable 1-0 Ibrox victory over Glenafton.
All members of their 1994 squad are requested to make contact with former Largs stalwart George Wall on 0780 1740494.

Jamie Wire (a Pollok supporter) came up with this fixture list for next season (2004-05). The West Region of the SJFA seem incapable of giving results for more than a week in advance (by the end of the season). I'll give them some credit though as they did manage about three weeks in advance earlier on in the season. Jamie posted this on his own website and posted the URL to the Scottish Juniors mailing list.
